Miami is going to the Natty
I thought I would ever see the day Miami makes it to the Natty

There are no words to describe how I am feeling about the Canes playing in the National Championship game. I've always seen it like the 2002 Rose Bowl, when Miami beat Nebraska, or like the ESPN 30 for 30 The U and The U Part 2, which showed the iconic legacy of the Miami Hurricanes. But now, as a 28-year-old, I finally get to see them play in person, and I am really excited. Carson Beck had a legacy drive at the end of the Fiesta Bowl (which we finally won our first ever game in the Fiesta Bowl). It washed away the duds from the Louisville and SMU games, more so the Louisville game, cause he had four interceptions, and one of them came on the last drive that would've given the Canes their sixth straight win, but when the previous drive came about, I was 100% nervous. The Louisville PTSD kicked in, and I was praying to God that he wouldn't have a choke job, but he pulled it off and scored on a 3-yard run to put the Canes up for good with about 20-something seconds left in the game, and it was enough for the Canes to get the win 31-27 over Ole Miss. Shout-out to Trinidad Chamblish: being a Michigan native, hearing he went to Ferris State, and seeing all the publicity for a small but super-dominant Division 2 school was really awesome. I also want to shout out to Pete Golding and the rest of the Ole Miss team for what they had to endure with the whole Lane Kiffin situation. I was pulling for them to win it all if Miami had lost earlier in the Playoffs, but they had to go up against my beloved Canes, and Ole Miss had to be the team I root against, and the same will be said if Indiana wins tonight. It's still a wild feeling to know that Miami can win the Natty, and they became the first ever team to play at their home stadium. This game, to me, has the 1983 feel when that Canes team beat Nebraska (crazy how many times Miami and Nebraska have faced each other for the titles), where Miami was the underdog and won their first Natty at home over the Cornhuskers, 31-30. Go Canes.
