It Feels Good To Be Hated
Cry Me A River

First off, prayers up for Ousmane Kromah. He broke his ankle yesterday, and it's tough to see that happen to such a talented player. When he comes back, he is gonna be a fun player to watch.
Hats off to Mike Norvell and the Florida State Seminoles for being a three-touchdown underdog; they came to play, and they fought till the very end. With Mike on the hot seat for a long time, you can see them compete and push Miami to double overtime.
That game was really stressful, man; it was aggravating, but it's a rivalry game, so being favored by three touchdowns, the records, all of that, throw it out. It felt like the old-school rivalry, with waves of emotion and our hearts pounding; it was an instant classic between Miami and Florida State. That's why I love this rivalry, and it makes it one of the more iconic rivalries in College Football.
Miami didn't look good at times, and you can tell they were playing down to their opponents, which is annoying because the same thing happened last year: they lost to Louisville and SMU. I know they ran the table afterward, but that was last year, and this is this year.
You can tell the defense is way too banged up, and it's gonna come back to bite us, because we are facing Pitt, UNC, and Notre Dame in the coming weeks, and Notre Dame became an elimination game for the Golden Domers because they lost to BYU last night. I'm hoping we can get healthy soon, because our DB room is thin, and it will be our Achilles' heel as the season progresses.
The end of the game was clearly a holding penalty; the offensive tackle held and basically tackled Damon Wilson Jr. to the ground, and Bryce Fitzgerald outjumped Duce Robinson; you can tell because Bryce is wearing a white long-sleeve shirt and it's clearly him, but everyone lacks common sense when it comes to these types of things.
It's always nice beating Florida State, and they feel the same way about us. Still, I also respect Florida State a lot more than I do Florida, because Bobby Bowden and the Seminoles keep playing the Hurricanes, while the Gators dropped the rivalry game.
Miami leads the all-time series 38-33.
