Welcome To The Winter Classic
The Winter Classic is Here

It's so wild seeing The Winter Classic come to South Florida, cause you don't expect it to be in Miami, but here we are having a game in a baseball stadium that's 61 degrees right now. I'm happy to get to see it, and I can't wait for them to come back, possibly, or for the Panthers to play in a location that is bone-chilling cold.
Period 1
That was rough. The Panthers don't look like the team we're used to seeing. Rangers capitalized on the power play, and then 64 seconds later scored again to push the lead to 2-0. I know the Panthers are down a bunch of players, but it shows how great the players we're missing are. Not saying this game is over by any means, but Paul Maurice needs to light a fuse in the team and come out and at least tie the game up in the Second period, cause if we come out flat looking, then basically we wrap up this festive night and go home. Panthers 0, Rangers 2.
Period 2
They look so uninspired out there, and it's one of those, hopefully with Chuky coming back, it can make the team juices flow, cause he's the type to drag you into the fight, cause they have absolutely nothing to do so for, and this is just a loss of words for this performance. The Rangers are playing fantastic, and they are playing much faster than the Panthers, and it's just mind-boggling what's even going on. I don't know what can be done, cause Igor is just playing like the Vezna-winning player he is, and Bob looks pretty sluggish out there. Let's see what the third period is like, cause well, it's a legit boring showing. Panthers 0, Rangers 3.
Period 3
Great way to get on the board by Reinhart on the power play, because it gives the Panthers some life, and you can tell it has given them some juice. Back on the power play, it will be big if we can find a way to go in the back of the net to move this game within a goal. Power Play remains the Achilles heel for the Panthers. When the Panthers start to find momentum, we commit a costly penalty, and if they find a way to score a goal then it will basically end the game, and thats the game. Clear kick, definelty would've been nice to have that goal. Mika Zibanejad had the first ever hat trick and that is pretty cool to see. Panthers just looked slow the whole game and the Rangers wanted it more so hats off to New York. Panthers 1, Rangers 5.
Final Thoughts
You can tell that not having Barkov, Chucky, Kuli, Nosek, Gadjovich, and potentially Jones is gonna be rough, and it's gonna be a massive uphill climb. The Panthers will make the playoffs, but I don't see another Stanley Cup appearance given the wear and tear on the body. The Winter Classic this year seems like a flop, and it should only be an event that takes place in cities that get snow and gives off the vibes of what the Winter Classic should be, and that's in the winter. Let's get back on the winning track, cause next up is Toronto. Vamos Gatos.
