Canes going to The Fiesta Bowl

Canes pulled it off

I can't believe the Canes did it. After 23 years since the infamous flag that prevented the Canes from being back-to-back National Champions, Miami has exorcised its demons last night by beating Ohio State, 24-14. I'm beyond pumped by this. Canes' most significant win in a long time, besides the win against the Aggies a week and a half ago. Mario is building Miami to play SEC/Big 10-style football. It makes things easier knowing that when we play someone like Georgia or Ole Miss, if we make it to the Natty, we won't embarrass ourselves and show that we belong with the new gen blue bloods. If Miami beats Georgia, then Miami will have the mindset of we're winning the National Championship, cause we beat Texas A&M, who was high as three all year, Ohio State, who was number one all year, and the team that would've won it all if they got past Miami, and Georgia, who could easily win the whole thing as well. Defense is amazing, and we need to throw everything at Heatherman to stick around, cause they play really violently. It's such a swarming defense, it's so fun, and it still makes us say, if we had this defense last year, we would have won the National Championship. We could be going for a back-to-back title. Beck is doing what is needed from him as a field manager, and he doesn't commit turnovers. He's playing the way we need him to play. The Canes have already exceeded my expectations in the playoffs, and whatever happens here on out, I will not be mad by it. Don't get me wrong, I want a National Championship, but they put the outlook for the next few seasons as pretty bright. Miami is going to Tempe, Arizona, to play in the VRBO Fiesta Bowl against the winner of the Ole Miss/Georgia game. Go Canes.
