Ole' Big East Foes
Hurricanes vs Orange

Series History
This Saturday marks the 24th encounter between Miami and Syracuse, with the Hurricanes currently leading the series 16-7. This will be the third meeting between the two teams since both joined the ACC, with Miami winning in 2017 and Syracuse in 2024. This isn't necessarily a big rivalry between the two schools, but they have a known history, with the days when both teams played in the Big East. Miami could’ve secured its second-ever trip to the ACC Championship game, but blew a 21-point lead to the Cuse in the Carrier Dome by a score of 38-42, and it pushed Miami out of a chance to play in the College Football Playoffs. Miami is looking to avenge last season's upset, while Syracuse is looking to spoil Miami's season for the second consecutive time.
Keys to the Game
Miami needs to come out and impose its will for all four quarters, never looking back.
Prediction
If Miami comes out the way they know how to play this game, it can be over by halftime. Still, if they come out not caring, if the offense looks like complete and utter garbage, and if the coaching staff is just meh, then Miami will lose, and the whole fanbase will be looking for some people to lose their jobs. This team had the chance to be a really special team, and then all of a sudden, they went back to the way everyone knows they are: frauds. I still have faith in Mario cause he is stacking talent on talent, but that can only get you so far in college football. The loss to Louisville showed the blueprint for beating us, and he's too stubborn to change it up and find a way to win games. I expect Miami to win, but if they show us the team that we've seen the last three weeks, then wrap it up, boys, and call it a day. Go Canes.
