Miami takes down Syracuse 38-10
Miami keeps their College Football Playoffs hopes alive

The Hurricanes defeated Syracuse by a score of 38-10. It was a much-needed win for the Hurricanes, keeping their hopes alive of making the College Football Playoffs. Miami's offense didn't get rolling until the final 3 minutes of the first half, which won't help when you're going up against a high-powered offense, but once they got the hang of it, as you can tell, they put it together in the second half. Defense performed amazingly again, and it sucks to see it go to waste. The defense is a championship-caliber defense, like how last year the offense was a championship-caliber offense, where our defense was a total dud. Miami needs to win out from here on out if they want any shot at making the College Football Playoffs, which is gonna be tough with NC State, who are usually a tough matchup, and Virginia Tech, who are a rival with Miami and took the Canes down to the wire. In rivalry games, you can throw the records out the window. They also have to play at Lane Stadium in November, where it's cold and miserable, and Pitt, which, as with Va Tech, is usually a team that gives Miami fits in the snowy conditions in Pittsburgh. I am confident the team can find ways to win those games, but Miami needs to be willing to make the adjustments to do so. Go Canes.
