Miami loses to SMU in overtime 20-26
Why is this team so predictable

With a loss to SMU, Miami is officially out of the College Football Playoffs. This team man, every year we go through the same stuff, have a very competent team, but we keep doing the same thing over and over. Mario's bread and butter is that 80's style run it down your throat, but is too stubborn to make the adjustments that are needed, like teams now know that you like to run through the A-Gap, especially on 4th and 1, maybe consider doing a play action pass. It isn't very reassuring, man. I'm at a loss for words: last year we had the best offense in the whole NCAA, but a dumpster fire defense; this year, a fantastic defense, with a very putrid offense. We can never get both to click, and talent alone can get you so far, but you need the smarts to make the adjustments—basically punch, counterpunch, punch—but man, it's like this every week. I'm not out on Mario by any means, but dude needs to cut this stubborn act and know teams will adjust to the ground-and-pound. That's all I have for this game; it's just, it's always something with this team. Go Canes.
