Miami beat Pitt, 38-7
Canes takes down the Panthers.

Miami played the way they should've on Saturday, beating Pitt 38-7. After going down 7-3 in the second, Miami ripped off 35 unanswered points and showed they deserved to play in the College Football Playoffs. Sadly, the Canes won't get a shot at the ACC Championship game, where the ACC has such a weird tiebreaker that lets a Duke squad that is 7-5 (6-2), play against Virginia, who is 10-2 (7-1) on the year, but lost to NC State, which was a supposed non-conference game, so yeah the ACC kinda needs to figure somethings out, not going after them cause Miami lost to Louisville and SMU, two games that where games where Miami should have absolutley have won those games, and now it puts the Hurricanes in a situtation where they are fighting for the last playoff spot with Notre Dame and with how the committee has it set up, it's favoring the Fighting Irish even though Miami beat them head to head, and won 3 out of 4 teams by a bigger margin, than Notre Dame. The one thing I will say is that this will make the Catholic vs. Convict rivalry a lot more heated in the future. Both teams should be in the Playoffs, play each other again, and have it settled on the field. If Notre Dame wins, they are the better team now than they were in week 1. Still, if Miami wins, then it shows that they should've been over Notre Dame from the start, but there needs to be a BYU loss to even have the debate on if Miami should be in or if it should be Notre Dame, but if BYU wins, then they push both Miami and Notre Dame out of the playoffs. This Sunday should be fun, cause this is when the College Football Playoffs will be official, and this where Miami will find out in what Bowl game they play in. Go Canes.
