Tua is benched
The Tua era is over in Miami

Mike McDaniel has finally pulled the trigger and benched Tua. It needs to happen cause Tua has been absolute garbage all year. Now that Miami is mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, McDaniel turned to rookie Quarterback Quinn Ewers, and I'm viewing this move as a low-risk, high-reward turn of events. If he turns out to be a capable starter who can win you games, that is awesome. Still, it's gonna be more so that he isn't gonna be the savior of Miami Dolphins football, and I can see the team losing the last three games. Zach Wilson will be the backup for the final three games, with Tua being the emergency Quarterback. Overall, I wanted Tua to be successful, but in a league where you need arm strength and can improvise and pick up yards with your legs, you become super one-dimensional, and teams will figure you out, which makes it super easy to beat you. So the next Quarterback Miami gets, I'm hoping has that big arm and that ability to run and be athletic, and I hope they build the offensive line to the point where the Quarterback can be super successful. Let's see what Quinn has to offer, and if we lose out, that is a better draft position to snag: a high-quality o-lineman or a stud player on the defensive side of the ball. Fins Up.
