Hello, My Name Is Richy

Hello everyone, this is my introduction post, where I'd like to take a moment to introduce myself. I'm Richy, a 28-year-old male born in Port Jefferson, Long Island, New York, and currently residing in Hale, MI. If anyone wants to know where Hale is, look up either the song "Smile" by Uncle Kracker or "All Summer Long" by Kid Rock.  I plan to pursue a career in journalism, and I want to use this website as a form of practice. And yes, I know you're all probably thinking How am I a Miami-based fan But I was born in New York and living in Michigan. Well, that's a straightforward answer. I grew up a Miami fan, but I do plan on covering more than just the Dolphins, Heat, Panthers, and Hurricanes, like when it's the playoffs for the NFL, NBA, NHL, or NCAA, it gives me all the practice, and it will also help me watch other teams and understand a lot more with certain moments in the year like free agency, the draft, same with the trade deadline. My post won't be perfect at first, since I'm new to the world of blogging and journalism. I'm personally open to any form of criticism, and any advice is greatly appreciated. I want to thank my older brother for helping out with getting the website published. It allowed me to do all the easy stuff, like adding pictures and the team history. I know it's very long; I'm going to try and figure out how to edit it down a bit. My primary focus with the page isn't to make money; that's not the main reason for me to be doing this. However, in a couple of years, when I become more experienced with blogging, I may incorporate a store, but that's going to be a future me's problem. With all of my blogging and talking, I'll be as unbiased as possible with my takes, because I strive to be as realistic as possible with my viewpoints on the games and their potential outcomes. I know this post doesn't necessarily feel that long, but it was sort of an introduction about myself and my plans. I'm trying to take a leap of faith and get out of my comfort zone to see where this route will take me. So, I would like to thank you all in advance, and let's see where this path leads me.
