Canes dominate CMU, 52-3
Started Slow, but finished fast

Miami started slow, going three-and-out, and the defense seemed out of it, with CMU scoring a field goal, but once Miami settled in, it got off to a fast start. The penalties were way too much, but a couple of them were really, really bad. There was a roughing the passer penalty, but Damon Wilson Jr. got to the QB right as the QB was throwing the ball, which is not roughing the passer; that's a clean hit, and Toney got called for an offensive pass interference, which, looking at the replay, there was not a single thing that showed that it was an OPI. Fletcher was out, which I was happy to see, because we're gonna need him next week against Clemson, and that game has a lot of implications. Mensah and Toney both had another great game, and again, with their Heisman chances, next week's game against Clemson, the voters, to me, will look at that game, the game against Notre Dame, and I also want to say Florida State since that's a big rivalry game. Defense looked solid, especially after the first drive. I want to get some key people back next week. I know I'm looking at the Clemson game, and it's seriously a big game, with the ACC Championship dreams and showing that Miami is the new face of the ACC. Overall, I'm happy we won, took it to CMU, and now it's on to Death Valley. Go Canes.
Miami leads the all-time series 2-0.
