Canada and USA both cruised into tournament clinching the 1st and 2nd seed

Canada is the 1 seed, and USA is the 2 seed

Canada

The Canadians just ran through Switzerland 5-1 and France 10-2, earning the number one seed. Canada shows you why they are the favorite to win this whole thing. They have a very deep team, and as I mentioned before, they have the speed skill, and they are willing to get chippy, and when they play the US, they are gonna need to be like that cause the US has some players that have that way of getting inside of their heads, so you basically gotta match it. Canada received a first-round bye and will face the winner of the Czechia/Denmark matchup.

USA

USA beat Denmark 6-3 and Germany 5-1, earning the number two seed. USA had a slow start against Denmark, falling behind 2-1 at one point, then turned it on to win. They went wire to wire against Germany, and that clinched them the number two seed. USA, like Canada, has the skills, speed, and grit to match Canada and could potentially steal a win against Canada. Easier said than done, but it's doable; they need to stay out of the box and know who's on the ice. USA will face the winner of the Sweden/Latvia matchup.
